I had the 1965 special. It was great. Probably some of the best seafood gumbo I've ever eaten, and I live on the gulf coast. The flame grilled steak medallions on a skewer were seasoned and cooked to perfection. We dined in but had to ask for a to go box. I'll try to eat there again soon.
Visiting from Houston and decided to try this place! AMAZING! Great prices and delicious food! Can't wait to go again.

The fish tacos were a bit too fishy this time, like they were trying to remind me where they came from. Usually, Sea Island Shrimp House nails it, so this was a surprise. That said, I’d still give the visit five stars overall because everything else reeled me back in. Service? Top-notch. There was a mix-up where they thought we ordered fish tacos instead of trout, but the server swooped in to save the day like a seafood superhero, issuing a credit faster than I could say, “Hold the tartar sauce.” Thankfully, my spouse spotted the error on the ticket before the food hit the table—proof that reading the fine print isn’t just for lawyers. The atmosphere? Fantastic. Big-screen TVs showing the football game, plenty of space between tables, and no crowds. Even if the restaurant had been full, I think I could’ve practiced my cartwheels without disturbing anyone.
The food was fresh and hot. Had great flavor, and the service was great. The place was clean and relaxing.
The food was super delicious, but the service we received made everything 100 times better! Everything had really good flavor, and plates are well served. Prices are good too. Can't wait to come back.
I haven't been here in at least 15 years. The reason for this is because I am the only one in my family that likes seafood. We went there for Father's Day and it was fantastic and as good as I remembered it to be. Everything was cooked perfectly and it won't be another 15 years before I return again.
Still the best seafood in San Antonio! i10 location was extremely busy Friday at noon but we were still able to get through the order line and get our food in under 15 minutes - amazing service! Try the ceviche!
